Toe-Man

Our first family Snowman was born a few short days after Christmas, under the Honey-locus tree in our back yard. Mia named him Toe-man and even made up a song for him...it' goes something like Pat-cake, Pat-cake, Toe-man, Roll it, Roll it, tickle-tickle-tickle. It goes to the tune of the Gingerbread man song. I'm not sure if we're ever suposed to get to the put it in the oven part or not because we always stop at the tickle tickle part and start all over.

Ana took this making a Snowman business very seriously, while Mia sampled each and every layer to make sure he tasted just right at every curve. While Mia was sampling the middle layer Ana was getting concerned that she might just eat Toe-man all gone so she told Mia, "Mia, don't eat all the snow, you're going to get hicups." That didn't stop her, but sure enough a few days later she did get the hicups. I bet Ana was right.

Jory and I had lots of fun bringing Toe-man to life. It was a little cold but all worth it. Yesterday Toe-man's back side got a little sunburned and it looks almost like he's doing a snowman back bend yoga move.
