Reading

Sometimes when we are reading to the girls Ana will take a book and read it to us by telling the story as she remembers it or by looking at the pictures, or both.  We were reading to the girls the other night and Mia wanted a turn to read so we handed her a book (Give that Back, Jack).  She doesn't read yet, obviously, but she'll turn the pages and start talking gibberish.  She doesn't say any real words she just mumbles and makes up words.  We think it is so, so cute when she does this.  Ana used to do the same thing before she could speak really well.
Then Ana said out of the blue: "Mia, it's not the dentist book, it's the Take it Back book!"
Jory and I couldn't stop laughing for a few minutes...maybe you just had to be there, but it was pretty funny.
