So, today I walked into a public restroom and there is a little girl in there by herself singing her little heart out. It was pretty cute. I went into the stall next to her and this is the conversation that we had:
Girl: Is that you Anita?
Me: Nope ;-)
Girl: Who is it? (I assume she still thought I was one of her family that I passed on my way in)
Me: I'm just a stranger.
Girl: silence...........Please, don't take me.
Me: OH, no I'm not going to take you...it's okay.
Girl: That's what strangers do :(
Me: Well that can be true, but I'm not going to take you.
Girl....silence
Me: Your family is right outside the door, I saw them on the way into the bathroom, they wont let anyone take you.
Thank GOODNESS another girl came in to tell her to hurry up because I think she was so scared there was no way she was coming out of that stall alone. I should have told her mom or Anita what a good job she did teaching her daughter about stranger danger.
Note to self: I am not a stranger, I am "someone else's mom".

That is so funny! I guess, "stranger" does have a bad connotation to a lot of little kids, though my girls would be like, "A stranger? What's that?" Probably an area I could work on.
